Walkability and short local trips: local errands, restaurants and bus stops are within a 5–15 minute walk depending on exact block; sidewalks are typical but some routes include modest hills. Public transit: Served by San Diego MTS bus routes along El Cajon Boulevard and College Avenue (frequent daytime service), and frequent campus shuttles and SDSU-oriented routes. The San Diego Trolley Green Line (SDSU Transit Center / Alvarado Medical Center area) and other trolley lines are reachable with a short bus or rideshare connection. Driving and rideshares: Very convenient — short drives to SDSU, downtown San Diego, Mission Valley and I‑8/I‑94 freeway access. Rideshare/taxi coverage is widespread and reliable. Biking: Short-distance cycling is feasible on neighborhood streets; some nearby arterials have bike lanes, but riders should expect hills and mixed traffic.
